• With a T Max timer, you will need a 110 v outlet for the remote timer. You will need 2 18 gauge wires to run from the TMAX timer J-3 terminal to the electrical panel of the HEX system where it’s marked J-3 terminal
• HEX is U.L. listed (48N5) which means it must be hard wired. The wire can come from the floor, ceiling or wall and will go directly into our electrical control panel on the left side of the HEX system as you face it.

Smart Lamps™ are actually three lamps in one, each targeted to a specific tanning requirement. The body doesn’t tan at equal rates from head to toe. So with the Smart Lamp™ there’s a section designed for tanning the face according to its needs, a section for the middle part of the body, and a section for the part of the body that notoriously tans the slowest – the legs. This gives the perfect even tan over the entire body.
A tanning lamp and the reflectors need a specific amount of space around them or their efficiency declines. When lamps are too close together, the entire unit generates and retains heat, and lamp life can decrease. We space lamps and reflectors to produce the greatest efficiency.
